Pump Street Bakery Chocolate will be holding tastings at Lawson's in Aldeburgh on Saturday 18 March and Saturday 8 April - just in time for Easter! Do call in to taste the chocolate and learn more about how it is produced.
Pump Street Bakery justly earned a national reputation for its artisan bread. Co-founder, Chris Brennan went on to master the art of produce hand-made chocolate straight from the bean. Immense care is taken at every stage of the process from sourcing the cocoa beans direct from small family farms and cooperatives. The beans are then sorted, roast, winnowed, ground and conched slowly in small batches before being tempered into chocolate bars. The bars include single estate bars:
